Each of these arrived when I was deep in meditation. A state that feels to me like being out of my body. In which I leave this place behind and travel about Eternity. A place that is not so much infinite time but more like a vast expanse that is (as best as I can tell) a separate operation entirely from Time. As these are living, moving, active and unique consciousness I am not able to carry anything like a snapshot of events. I have to pick and choose what elements and aspects of change to represent. Whether to represent them as word or art or both. Whether said art should be black & and white or color. Whether digital or traditional. And of course the most difficult decision of all... should I represent them at all? When I do represent or report on these entities and my experiences it is not with perfect faithfulness to image. I am not trying to capture the most photographically representative image of what I have seen. It is of at least equal importance to me to capture what I felt. And to try to translate what it all means.
With the Techno'Magi it is even more interpretive because I am homogenizing and translating a whole host of concepts and experiences for the purposes of storytelling and even roll playing. Why? Meditation... spirituality, higher and parallel consciousnesses etc., etc., might be a bit over the top for many... indeed for most. And at the end of the day most people, including myself most of the time just want to escape and have a good time. Hence the gamification (TTRPG) and stories. We all need a break, and we all need to have some fun.
